This training is for cablers who work in Domestic Premises or Commercial Premises typically for Security or Fire Systems when cabling from sensors to equipment only (no MDF or backbone cabling work). You will require a Restricted Cabling Registration to perform cabling work. This training leads to a Nationally recognised Attainment Statement. The 2 core modules for this course costs $300 online plus Hands on Day $150. You then use that Attainment Statement to apply for the Restricted Cabling Registration.

You may also complete the same training on our Data DVD ROM product for $444 plus $11 P&P ($455) and the hands on day for $150.

If you do not possess an electrical trades certificate you may have to also complete some pre-requisite subjects.

The pre-requisites do not apply to trades qualified persons such as Electricians, persons who hold a Certificate in Electronics or Radiocommunications as an example.

Comparing Prices
When you compare our prices to other RTO's and TAFE's just remember you have to take time off work (2 days is common), maybe you have to travel to the course, and maybe you have to pay for accommodation and meals. That adds a lot of cost to your training. We only ask you to attend one day of face to face training. The theory is all done from your computer in your time when you want to do it. You need to be self motivated to get in and do it, that's what we ask of you. Then we support you with a tutor for the duration of your training so you're not alone.
